Principal's Pen

   Greetings Friends,

I am very excited about the progress that has been made in terms of students achievement and social development at  Lee Central Middle School during our first semester. Our benchmark scores and disciplinary data indicate positive trends in the right direction. We have worked very hard on improving our culture and climate so that our children, staff, and guest feel welcome, safe, and supported as we do the important work of learning and teaching.  As we press forward into our school year, we expect to continue the momentum, and further sharpen our focus on providing pinpoint instruction that will continue to move our students toward success.  Our teachers are fully committed, and our students are eager to learn – we are “a school on the move”.  As always we are grateful for the partnerships with our parents and community stakeholders, and invite you to please come out and visit with us each time you have an opportunity.  Thank you for your support.

Letter From Desk
Wanda Andrews
Ed. D. Superintendent

I hope that this letter finds you and your family doing well. As you are aware, we missed a total of six days from school due to inclement weather. In an effort to recover the loss of instructional time, we have developed a plan to begin our second semester. Please see the attached schedule which provides you with the changes to our regular schedule. Our spring break holidays and the end of the school year will remain as originally planned. The first extended day session will be held next week on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your principal. Thank you for your support and partnership.

Sincerely, Wanda Andrews, Ed. D. Superintendent
