Principal's Pen

   Greetings Friends,

I am very excited about the progress that has been made in terms of students achievement and social development at  Lee Central Middle School during our first semester. Our benchmark scores and disciplinary data indicate positive trends in the right direction. We have worked very hard on improving our culture and climate so that our children, staff, and guest feel welcome, safe, and supported as we do the important work of learning and teaching.  As we press forward into our school year, we expect to continue the momentum, and further sharpen our focus on providing pinpoint instruction that will continue to move our students toward success.  Our teachers are fully committed, and our students are eager to learn – we are “a school on the move”.  As always we are grateful for the partnerships with our parents and community stakeholders, and invite you to please come out and visit with us each time you have an opportunity.  Thank you for your support.

Dr. Gregory Jones

We have an exciting event coming up on Friday, December 15, @ 1:30.

The Lee Central High School J.V. vs. Lee Central Middle School B-Team basketball game. All students who want to attend are welcome.
The admission for each student will be $2.
All proceeds will go to our 8th grade AVID program, which will soon be expanded into our 7th grade and our 6th grade

It is that time again that we join forces and show love and support to our neighbor. We will have our toy drive December 1 - 14th. At the end of the week, we will present all gifts to The Good Samaritans on Friday December 15th at our Holiday Basketball Game.  All teachers, staff, and students are encouraged
to participate with by donating new or mildly used toys at the school. We are asking each grade level teacher team to come together and purchase one large item.

It is the last day. Make it an amazing day students.  Winter break!!! Work hard, be kind, and most of importantly, be respectful to yourselves and to others.  BE SAFE - We want to see you back at Lee Central Middle School!!!

Ms. L. Williams and her students are sharing their holiday spirit,  By spreading joy around LCMS.  They are bringing sweets to us every morning and we are enjoying it very much.  The kids said they are doing it because they love seeing all of us smile.  Thanks for sharing your spirit with us.
